Privacy Policy

The controller of your personal data is the operator of Sell Easy (legal entity to be confirmed on incorporation). Contact us at contact@selleasy.tech for any privacy question or to exercise your rights.

• Account data. Your name, work email, and hashed password when you sign up. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and a Google account identifier.
• Ingested website content. When you point Sell Easy at a website, we crawl its public pages and store text, page titles, URLs, and derived embeddings so the concierge can answer from that content.
• Visitor conversations. When someone chats with your concierge we store the messages, the AI reply, source citations, and metadata (timestamps, channel). If a visitor shares a name, email, or phone number we store it as a lead tied to that conversation.
• Usage and diagnostics. Basic logs, IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention, browser type, and error traces.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

• Contract. To provide the service you signed up for: ingest your site, run your concierge, capture your leads, produce your analytics.
• Legitimate interests. To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and communicate service updates.
• Consent. Where required, for optional cookies or marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation. To keep records we are required to keep and to respond to lawful requests.

We use trusted infrastructure providers to run the service. They process personal data only on our behalf under written terms:

• Cloud hosting, database, and authentication (Lovable Cloud built on Supabase).
• Language model inference through the Lovable AI Gateway.
• Website crawling through Firecrawl.
• Text to speech through OpenAI.
• Email delivery for account and transactional messages.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your ingested content or conversation transcripts to train general-purpose models.

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards published by the European Commission and the UK Information Commissioner.

• Account data: for the life of the account and up to twelve months after closure.
• Ingested content and embeddings: for as long as the source is active in your account, or until you delete it.
• Conversation transcripts and leads: retained per your dashboard settings, and by default up to twenty four months, then deleted or anonymised.
• Diagnostic logs: typically up to ninety days.

You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Every tenant-owned table has an organisation identifier and Postgres row level security enforces that a user only sees rows belonging to organisations they are a member of. Transport is encrypted with TLS. Access to production systems is limited to the smallest number of people needed to run the service.

Subject to local law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@selleasy.tech. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We use a small number of first party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember essential preferences. Where required, we ask for consent for non-essential cookies before setting them.

If you are chatting with a Sell Easy concierge embedded on someone else's website, that business is the controller of your conversation. Please read that business's privacy notice. We act as their processor for the concierge conversation.

We may update this policy from time to time. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give reasonable notice. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
